City Court
The Jacksonville City Court is the court in which the citations written by the Jacksonville Police Department are filed. The City Court of Jacksonville also receives charges files by the Jacksonville Independent School District for violations at school and for school attendance infractions. Persons receiving citations may contact the court for payment information. You may pay your ticket in one or several payments. If your payments take longer than thirty (30) days, the State of Texas imposes a $25.00 fee on each unpaid violation.

If you are unable to pay your fine because of financial problems, the Court has community service work available at the rate of $100.00 per eight hours worked.

If you feel you are not guilty of the charge on the citation, you may contest your ticket by requesting a trial by jury or before the court.
